Cowboy S’mores Grilled Sandwich

To celebrate National S’mores Day, we’re taking a tasty twist on this campfire classic.

Cowboy S’mores Grilled Sandwich

These recipes combine melted marshmallows and a toasted crust to create a delicious treat that is grilled to perfection. Grab some marshmallows and get grilling!

Ingredients

Prep: 10 mins

•4 slices of white sandwich bread
•2 graham crackers, finely crushed
•1 cup of marshmallows, cut in half horizontally
•1 chocolate bar
•2 tablespoon butter, softened

Preparation

•Light Cowboy® Hardwood Lump Charcoal in charcoal chimney and let burn for 10-15 minutes
•Spread hot coals over grilling area, and preheat grill for about 10 minutes
•Spread butter evenly on only one side of all the bread slices
•Once coals have ashed over, place bread, butter side down on grill over direct heat
•Place graham cracker, marshmallows and chocolate on two of the bread slices
•Top with other slices of bread so that the graham cracker, marshmallows and chocolate are in the middle
•Cook sandwich for 3-5 minutes, flipping once
•Remove from grill and enjoy!
